Lux's First Trip West (Easter Edition)

Because I was feeling so good so fast, we decided to be brave and load the girls up to go to Cambridge for Lux's first Easter. It was a quick trip for all of the work it took to get there, but overall it was worth the family time. She loved getting to meet so much family so soon...and Mama loved getting out of the house!

Showing Papa Doc how well I hold my head up!

Peanut loves to take a bath in Grandma's bathroom!

It was Operation: Landry to Walk that weekend, with the entire
living room rallying around her! She loved all the attention and was
doing really well walking with someone just holding onto her shirt to
stabilize her.

Meeting Great Grandma for the first time.

Aunt Kilah making her Easter nests - a tradition!

Chilling with Daddy on Saturday morning!

Eating pancakes and fruit with Papa Doc.

And the Easter bunny came!

Toad appears less than humored to be in an Easter basket at a ripe age of 3 weeks.

Opening your baskets from Papa and Grandma! A lifejacket...yay!!

Opening your new matching dresses
from Great Grandma Deaver.

Trying to get a picture with all of the great-grandkids = epic fail.

Overall, the weekend was a zoo. Both girls basically lost their marbles from York on and by the time we got home they were both hungry hot messes who were crabby and ravenous. The trip may have been a bit premature in our new life as a circus family of four, but it was nice to spend time with family.
