Lux: 1 Month

We went back for weight checks at 5 days old (8 pounds, 1 ounce), 9 days old (8 pounds, 3 ounces) and 13 days (8 pounds, 12 ounces) as the pediatrician was concerned about your lack of weight gain. We were on the verge of having to add fortified calories to the breast milk until the 3rd visit when you finally gained a good chunk of weight. We were shocked that the baby that came out having to have blood sugars tested for being LGA was not gaining weight fast enough!

At 1 MONTH, you:

Weigh 9 pounds, 7 ounces (75th percentile) @ 3 week check up
Are 23" long (>95th percentile)
Head circumference is 14 1/4" (50th percentile)
Rarely cried or did anything but sleep for 1st 2 weeks
Started Maalox for reflux & Nystatin for thrush
Started wearing size 1 diapers at 2 weeks and 3 days
Outgrow newborn jams and wear 3 months at 2.5 weeks old
Took your 1st trip to Grandpa and Grandma Deaver's for Easter at 2.5 weeks old
Smiled socially at Mommy on May 1st
Wake every 1 1/2 to 3 hours to eat at night
Eat an average of 3 ounces every 2-3 hours
Sleep best from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am
Grunt like a goat - we call you "Biilllllyyyyy"
Are a very loud, dramatic sleeper
Like your milk warm, being held, and getting your hair washed
Dislike your carseat, being laid on tummy (unless already asleep)
Sleep in Mamaroo or Nap nanny
Hold your head very well
Have some baby acne
Focus well at objects close
Are called the "One Cry Wonder" - that's all you really do
